Your first fifteen minutes

Set the TV up once, properly.

The short version, for a TV that has just been installed.

A short setup pass that gets a new TiviGlass install to the point where it feels like yours.

Sign in with your phone, or continue as a guest.
Add your IPTV provider as a playlist.
Let the catalogue finish importing.
Add an EPG source if your provider didn’t supply one.
Create a profile for each person in the house.
Set the household PIN.
Restrict what the children’s profiles can reach.
Favourite twenty or so channels you actually watch.
Hide the categories you will never open.
Set Delay before switching if you like to surf.
Choose your default audio and subtitle languages.
Turn on Auto-play next episode if you binge.
Set the interface density and check for overscan.
Pick a colour theme.
Point recordings at the storage you want to use.
Sign in on your other TVs — cloud sync is already on and they take on this setup.
Take a backup once everything is set up.
Leave automatic updates on.
