TiviGlass is a native IPTV player for Android TV — built for the sofa, the remote, and the messy reality of real provider catalogues. It is not a TV service. You bring the subscription; the app organises channels, guide data, movies and recordings into one interface that feels at home on a television.
Why it exists
Most IPTV apps on TV boxes are either web pages wrapped in a shell or phone apps stretched to fit a ten-foot screen. TiviGlass was rebuilt as a proper Android TV application: hardware-accelerated playback, D-pad focus throughout, guide previews that stay smooth while you browse, and defensive handling for slow providers and mixed stream formats. One APK targets Fire OS, Google TV, Nvidia Shield and generic Android TV devices because the living room is not one uniform platform.
What you need to use it
A lawful IPTV subscription from a provider you choose. TiviGlass connects with Xtream Codes, Stalker / Ministra portals, M3U playlists and Stremio addons. It does not include channels, does not scrape public streams, and does not link to pirated services. The free tier covers live TV, the guide, movies, shows and catch-up where your provider supports them. Privacy and accounts
Guest mode keeps playlists and viewing data on the device. A TiviGlass account (free to create) enables cloud sync of settings, favourites and playlists across your TVs. Provider passwords are encrypted on each device; they sync only when you opt into account features. The privacy policy describes what leaves the TV and what stays local.
How the project is funded
TiviGlass is supported by optional Premium plans and, on public website pages, carefully placed advertising through Google AdSense. Utility screens — account login, checkout, support pairing — never carry ads. Revenue funds hosting, development and support for the Android TV app you installed. There is no investor board and no sale of viewer data to IPTV providers.

Open development
TiviGlass is actively developed for the Android TV ecosystem that mainstream streaming apps often ignore. Feature requests and bug reports from real living-room setups drive the roadmap more than spec sheets. Beta builds ship through the same website when you opt in on the device; they share your data with production accounts, so only join beta if you are comfortable testing unfinished work on your main TV.
The project does not operate a reseller panel of its own. Partner programme tools exist for installers who manage many household accounts, but everyday viewers only need the free player and their own provider relationship. That separation keeps support focused on playback, guides and app settings rather than subscription sales.

TiviGlass is built in the UK and distributed worldwide as a single Android package. Local laws still apply to the content you choose to watch; the app provides tools for parental controls and profile separation so households can decide what each screen may access.
