The bar under the featured area filters Home: Everything, Recently watched, Favourites or Watchlist, with Customise Home at its end. The one you are on is highlighted; choose Everything to clear it. Filtering keeps your saved rail order and leaves hidden rails hidden. The menu opens Live TV, Movies and Shows.
Home is a set of rows that fill themselves from what you watch. Empty rows hide automatically, so a fresh install looks sparse and gets richer over a week of use.
Trending titles offer Find in my services, which opens Search across the TV services this profile can use. Choose a matching result to see its details; a trending title may not be available from your providers. Back from Search returns to Home. The featured area is smaller on a phone held sideways, leaving more room for the rows.
What the rails show Free
- The hero at the top shows what’s on now or the thing you’re most likely to resume.
- Move down through the rows; move left and right within one. The featured area scrolls away as you browse.
- Rows follow your saved order exactly. Live TV, On Demand and For you headings mark each run of related rows.
On capable devices, staying on a live channel card for about a second plays that channel behind the headline. This preview is always silent — moving around the rails never starts sound, so it will not interrupt anything else you are listening to. Press OK to watch it properly, with sound. Moving on before the preview starts cancels it, so sweeping along a rail does not tune anything.
While a free trial is running, a countdown sits above the rows and tells you how many days are left. Select it to see the plans.
Customise Home Free
Customise Home is the one place Home is managed. The list is on the left, and the right-hand side shows what the row you are on looks like, with its real artwork, next to a small map of your whole Home screen. The tabs down the left edge say what OK does: press Left from anywhere in the list to reach them, Up and Down to choose one, and Right or OK to go back to the list. The keys you can use are shown along the bottom. The preview follows the row you are on once you stop on it, so moving down a long list stays quick. Every change is saved as you make it.
- Show & hide: press OK on a row to take it off Home or put it back.
- Arrange: press OK to pick a row up, then Up and Down to move it. Left sends it to the top and Right to the bottom. OK puts it down; Back puts it back where it was. The map shows it sliding into place.
- Start-up: choose what TiviGlass opens on (Where I left off, Home, Live TV, Movies or Shows), whether it starts on the last channel, and whether Home is in the menu.
- Layouts: one press gives Home a ready-made shape: Balanced, Live TV first, Movies & shows first or Just the essentials. Go back to your layout appears at the top of the list and puts your own rows back until you leave.
You can also change Home from where you see it: hold OK on any card and choose Hide this row, Move this row or Customise Home. The bar under the featured area filters Home to Everything, Recently watched, Favourites or Watchlist; the Live TV, Movies and Shows buttons that used to sit at the top of Home are gone, because the menu opens those. Home’s rows and their order are saved on this TV. What TiviGlass opens on is saved for this profile on this TV. A child’s profile always opens Kids and has no Customise Home.
The Watchlist row brings together up to 60 recently saved movies and shows from your current TV source. Hidden or locked categories stay out of it.
